Delhi government vs discoms: Arvind Kejriwal's promises tripped?
BSES Yamuna Power Limited, which provides electricity to lakhs
in East Delhi says its broke and has no money to buy power and
massive load shedding could be a reality from tomorrow onwards.
This is blackmail says the government. As the prospect of those
power cuts seemed ominous, the Delhi Electricity Regulatory
Commission has cleared a power surcharge across Delhi. You will
have to pay a surcharge of between 6 and 8 per cent. Where does
this leave the Aam Aadmi?
