Tata Motors and Samsung join hands for enhanced in-car infotainment systems
Thursday, 6 February 2014 by Unknown
As a part of its customer-centric strategy ‘Horizonnext’ which focuses
aggressively on delivering a new level of driving and ownership experience,
Tata Motor has teamed up with Samsung to offer innovative in-car
connectivity apps in Tata passenger cars.
Based on Samsung’s ‘Drive Link aap’, the upcoming in-car smartphone
technology is designed to offer a comprehensive access to the smartphone
features while ensuring that the driver is faced with no distraction.
Samsung’s Drive Link app designed for smartphones ensures safe usage while
driving. Thanks to its clear and uncluttered interface, enlarged buttons and a
simple menu, the app ensures the user retains the core functionality of their
smartphones while being as safe as possible.
This is geared to give Tata passenger car buyers the freedom to listen to
music, hands-free calling and GPS navigation, all from their smartphones.
Furthermore, Tata Motors and Samsung have also showcased future
possibilities for next-gen infotainment using tablets for rear passengers.
